THE FUTURE IS NOW.

The time has come! 19 boxes of records have been successfully weaned off their mothers, individually branded with their own unique numeric identities, and pumped full of the powerful spirits of a dozen or so rabbits. They're now looking for good new homes - maybe you would like to take one in? Pump up the jams!

If you're in Toronto, you can already find our album at Soundscapes and Rotate! If you don't have a record player or use for such a large, gorgeous piece of packaging, the album will also be available on Itunes, Amazon, etc on the 19th. If you don't live in Toronto, don't like digital downloads, and love receiving mail - you can buy a travelling copy here.

For those of you who might stop by our release show on Friday at The Garrison (party time!) the first 70 copies of the record will include a screen printed poster as seen above - each one a little bit different as far as their bright colours are concerned. And should you want a rabbit's foot to keep yourself in good luck for the rest of your days, well we might have a few of those too.

We recently said goodbye to our old practice space of the past 5 years.
We honoured the occasion with a spontaneous backyard pizza party.
Thanks for the memories, 78. Onwards to our new secret lair....

PLAYING WITH FIRE.

This weekend we were amateur video makers, small time fire starters, portable BBQ lovers, neighbourhood party crashers, creative shotglass testers, crude landscapers, and midnight fog manipulators. Experiments are good.

Stay tuned to see how Tim shapes this little visual experiment of ours into something mysterious and magical.

A night in the studio.
Popcorn, beer and big feet were consumed. We are health masters.
Lee came in and played violin on a few songs. Violin guys.
We are finally nearing the finish line!

WEEKDAY MAGIC.

Best Coast (above) were awesome last night! We had a great time playing this show, met lots of nice people, and then ended the night at The Lakeview for pints and various food items. It was basically a perfect Tuesday night. Spring fever.

This show is going to be good times! Rat Tail will eat all the finest pickled vegetables, cold cuts, and cheeses to prepare. They will dazzle you. Magic Markers are bound to knock your socks off. We're on first! If Tim has a weird look in his eye please walk away from him quickly - there is no cure for spring fever.

We took a break in the studio to watch the end of the Canada / USA game. We also ate a dozen donuts. Jim ate the Canada donut, so he's obviously the most patriotic.
