Here's a few pics of Rob and I doing the same thing at the same time at The Silver Dollar.
And this photo of Rob is just cool. No mirroring here.
Tim was there too, guys. Shrouded in the darkness of the night! On this night, I think Tim soundchecked with Permafrown before their drummer showed up. Permafrown were awesome and Permafrown is a great band name. I kinda wish it was our band name.
Check it out - it's Paul! One of our OG members. I wonder if this was the night that Dan Burke recruited Paul to help him look in the dumpster for his missing briefcase? The dumpster behind The Silver Dollar w/ a flashlight. Can you imagine?
Or maybe that was another night. I'll never know for sure. That's just what happens when you think about The Silver Dollar.
Watching the Guest Bedroom was like watching a cable TV show about a team of experts who build a cake in the shape of the Tower of Babylon and opening the curtains to let the light of the full moon spill through the drapes overtop the television and as each layer of cake is laid down the tension builds, right up to the last breath of the last verse, the teetering sense that the band couldn't possibly ride that wave through the whole set, but they do! And as the last song outros, the cake is presented, the credits roll, and you cry, you can't be sure if you're crying because the cake didn't fall or because of the silver moonlight. That's what the Guest Bedroom sounded like to me. - Doc Pickles.
GUESS WHAT?!! We're starting over from scratch. All new songs! We've got a couple new ones in the works right now and they're...amazing.
Gonna start posting all kinds of random old stuff around here. Remember when it was Adder's b-day and we played at The Dufferin Hotel and he sat in a chair at the front through the whole set making demands? GOOD TIMES! Also? Party hats.
